Why does everyone skip step 1?

There’s a common mistake that keeps people stuck at $5k-$10k/mo.

It’s stupidly simple, and you’re probably going to go “doh” Homer Simpson style when I tell you.

But nevertheless, many people get this wrong.

And it costs them silly amounts of time spent, and money not earned.

I’m talking about validation.

Take a 10 min scroll of the timeline today and you’ll see the same advice over and over…

“Just build an offer”

“Pick an offer bro”

Now I agree with the ‘just start’ mentality.

But picking an offer and launching it without validating there’s actually demand first, is completely moronic.

Why?

Two reasons:

1. Who tf wants to sell something that no-one wants, that sounds like hell to me.

2. Without talking to your ICP first, you don’t understand the exact issues they have, and therefore don’t know HOW to sell the service to them.

This is why the first thing we get you to do when you join Built Different, is to go back out and speak to your past clients, customers, and audience.

Not only will you likely sign another client or two from that process, but they’ll tell you exactly how to sell your new offer to them.

Don’t just take it from me:

Mitti secured a $6k/mo retainer client in their first 30 days in the program.

Josh signed a $1k/mo client with 7.5% rev share after 3 weeks.

And that’s just from the last 2 weeks of October…

Built Different is filling up fast, and we’re shutting the doors when we reach 30.

(14/30 currently)

If you want to get a headstart on the lazy people waiting until January to scale, now is the time.

We’ll help you scale to $20k-$30k/mo by only working with high-paying, premium clients…

DM me "BD" and I’ll share the details.

It’s been just over 2 years since that fateful Wednesday morning. I went into work that day expecting it to be the same as any other, 4 hours later I found myself in my bosses office resigning. And starting an online business there and then. Over the last 24 months I’ve learned a thing or two, and made a decent chunk of cash along the way. So today I wanted to share the 3 bits of advice I rarely see people share, that have had the biggest impact on my own business. 1. Perception is massively...

“I’ll start Jan 1st” That’s what most people say. The kind of people who are destined to fall short of their potential… Who like the idea of being rich, more than they like the idea of actually making it happen. Then there’s the action takers. The people who know that they need to lock in, get their head down, and make stuff happen. If you think of yourself as an action taker. Then I have news for you… You have 33 days. That’s all you’ve got until Jan 1st 2025. 33 days to get a head start. 33...

Happy Thanksgiving, or as we call it in the UK… Thursday. There’s nothing like a national holiday to stir up awkward questions from your family around the dinner table: “How’s our little entrepreneur going?” “Are you still doing that funny internet business thing?” “When are you going to get a REAL job?” Super supportive… The truth is, they don’t understand the pressure that comes with building your own business. Not only are you having to constantly learn and improve on a skill (which is...
